Excellent power supply unit my dell xps m1710 is now working again ; charging the battery to.I had three old pa-13 psu units and they were not working properly at all i kept getting a message saying please use a dell 130w power supply your computer will run slow and will not charge the battery.I have read about these problems on many forums some pepole think the problem is the mouther board but its not its the power supply or the cable.Im very happy with the new design of the psu slim and more reliable then the old psu units also has a green led built in the main pin socket on the lead.dont buy a pa-13 unit purchase a PA-4E psu there more better made componets inside ; more reliable to.

I have a Dell Studio XPS 16. My original power supply started failing, and in any event was under-powered because of an oversight by Dell to adequately supply enough power to the processor and graphics card. Anyhoo, this is the 130Watt, NOT the 90Watt (which I have, and is rubbish for my XPS 16). This a good adaptor; well made. It is our course slightly sturdier than the smaller 90Watt but totally worth the wee extra bulk in my opinion.
